A constant source of inspiration for Jeanette is the landscape opposite her home, particularly the escarpment painting is in abstract expressionist style as the red sun is below the horizon line and the green line represents the escarpment line. Jeanette loves the colour changes according to the time of day. She would quite often choose a colour scheme to emphasize the time of day. Jeanette likes to play with perspective and placement to ensure interesting colours and patterns. The inspiration for this particular day was a hot summer day. "The trees are symbols, grouped together in the left upper corner, still within the landscape" This piece is acrylic and collage on a stretcher frame.
Jeanette also has a range of limited edition Giclee prints. Giclee prints are high quality archival prints.
