Our current handmade jewellery collection ‘Gypsy Princess” is getting its 1970s groove on as our original designs become infused with the decade’s rebellious hippie luxe spirit like these silver shield earrings. For some hippie chic will never die. Whether it is long kaftans, colourful embroidery, ropes of chunky turquoise beads, talismans and medallions, a suede cowboy hat & boots … all were layered colourfully and playfully together. This is the backdrop to which I was born and is inspired by jet set travel and the desire to capture the moody, glam, freedom and adventure of the 60s and 70s. I have childhood memories of my fashionable grandparents and hippie aunts globe trotting to far flung places which imbued in me a life long love of effortless glamour and travel.
