This hand beaded embroidered collar has a focal piece of genuine amber in an oval donut shape. It is flanked by a large shell based pearl, and an elephant sculpted from bone. It also features mandarin topaz, black onyx, dichroic glass, jasper, Swarovski crystal and handmade polymer clay beads.
The clasp is 18kt gold plated and includes a floral motif made from freshwater pearls, carnelian ovals and facted mandarin garnet beads.
The collar is an heirloom piece, all hand crafted, each bead individually stitched (or in the case of the amber, glued) onto backing fabric. The entire piece is then backed with ultrasuede, which is a beautifully soft but resilient man-made fabric that does not fray. The clasp, chain and rings are all gold plated brass.
